न तद्भासयते सूर्यो न शशाङ्को न पावकः।
यद्गत्वा न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम॥६॥
Transliteration
Na Tad-Bhasayate Suryo Na Shashanko Na Pavakah.
Yad-Gatva Na Nivartante Tad-Dhama Paramam Mama.

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
उस परम धाम को न सूर्य प्रकाशित करता है, न चन्द्रमा, न अग्नि। जहाँ जाकर लोग लौटते नहीं — वह मेरा परम धाम है।
English Translation
Neither the sun illuminates that, nor the moon, nor fire. Having gone there, they do not return — that is My supreme abode.
Commentary (टीका)
This celebrated verse, echoing the Katha and Mundaka Upanishads, describes the transcendent nature of God's supreme abode. It is self-luminous, beyond the reach of any physical light source. The sun, moon, and fire — which illuminate the entire material world — cannot reach that realm. It is the realm of pure consciousness where the liberated soul finds eternal rest.
