English Translation

There are two types of beings in this world — the divine and the demoniac. The divine has been described in detail; now hear from Me about the demoniac, O Partha.

Commentary (टीका)

Having described divine qualities in three verses, Krishna now turns to elaborate on demoniac nature. This transition signals that understanding negative tendencies is equally important for spiritual growth. Self-awareness of both types helps one consciously choose the divine path.
