Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

This threefold austerity, practiced with supreme faith by disciplined persons who desire no reward, is called sattvic.

Commentary (टीका)

The three types of tapas — physical, verbal, and mental — become sattvic when practiced with deep faith and without desire for results. Faith and selflessness transform routine discipline into genuine spiritual austerity. This synthesis verse unifies the preceding three into a complete practice.
