तदित्यनभिसन्धाय फलं यज्ञतपःक्रियाः।
दानक्रियाश्च विविधाः क्रियन्ते मोक्षकाङ्क्षिभिः॥

'तत्' कहकर, फल की इच्छा न रखते हुए, मोक्ष चाहने वाले विविध प्रकार के यज्ञ, तप और दान की क्रियाएँ करते हैं।
English Translation
Uttering 'Tat' without aiming at any reward, various acts of sacrifice, austerity, and charity are performed by the seekers of liberation.
Commentary (टीका)
Tat (That) reminds the seeker that all actions belong to the Supreme and are offered to That transcendent reality. By uttering Tat, one renounces personal ownership of the fruits of action. This practice is the hallmark of those genuinely seeking liberation rather than worldly rewards.
