Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
O Partha, the word 'Sat' is used in the sense of reality and goodness. Likewise, the word 'Sat' is applied to praiseworthy actions.
Commentary (टीका)
Sat encompasses both absolute truth (reality) and moral goodness. When applied to actions, it denotes that which is genuine, praiseworthy, and aligned with divine order. This dual meaning reminds us that true goodness must be grounded in ultimate reality.
