Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
The Supreme Lord said: The wise understand sannyasa as giving up desire-prompted actions. The discerning declare tyaga as the relinquishment of the fruits of all actions.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna distinguishes two approaches: sannyasa is renouncing actions motivated by personal desires, while tyaga is performing all duties but renouncing attachment to their results. This nuanced distinction reveals that true spirituality lies not in inaction but in selfless action.
