रागी कर्मफलप्रेप्सुर्लुब्धो हिंसात्मकोऽशुचिः।
हर्षशोकान्वितः कर्ता राजसः परिकीर्तितः॥

जो कर्ता आसक्त, कर्मफल की इच्छा रखने वाला, लोभी, हिंसक स्वभाव वाला, अशुद्ध, हर्ष-शोक से युक्त है — वह राजसिक कहा गया है।
English Translation
The doer who is passionate, who desires the fruits of action, who is greedy, harmful in nature, impure, and subject to joy and sorrow — is called rajasic.
Commentary (टीका)
The rajasic doer is characterized by emotional volatility and self-centered motivation. Swinging between elation at success and depression at failure, such a person never finds lasting peace. Greed and willingness to harm others for personal gain further mark this type of actor.
