Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

The doer who is undisciplined, vulgar, obstinate, deceitful, malicious, lazy, despondent, and procrastinating — is called tamasic.

Commentary (टीका)

The tamasic doer combines the worst qualities: lack of discipline, dishonesty, malice, and chronic laziness. Procrastination and despondency ensure that even when tasks are attempted, they are done poorly and late. This profile serves as a mirror for self-examination and motivation to rise above tamas.
