English Translation

Acts of sacrifice, charity, and austerity should not be abandoned; they must indeed be performed. Sacrifice, charity, and austerity are purifying even for the wise.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna settles the debate decisively: sacred duties must never be abandoned. Even the most enlightened souls benefit from sacrifice, charity, and austerity as these acts continue to purify the heart. This is Krishna's definitive position on the practice of dharmic action.
