Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
श्रीकृष्ण ने कहा — हे अर्जुन! इस विषम समय में तुम्हें यह मोह कहाँ से आ गया? यह श्रेष्ठ पुरुषों के योग्य नहीं है, न स्वर्ग दिलाने वाला है और न कीर्ति देने वाला है।
English Translation
The Supreme Lord said: O Arjuna, from where has this delusion come upon you at this critical hour? It is unbecoming of a noble person, does not lead to heaven, and brings disgrace.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna's very first words are a sharp rebuke, not sympathy. He uses three devastating criticisms: it is ignoble (anarya-jushtam), it won't lead to higher realms (asvargyam), and it brings dishonor (akirti-karam). A true teacher sometimes uses harsh words to shake the student out of delusion.
