Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

For one who is born, death is certain; and for one who has died, birth is certain. Therefore, you should not grieve over what is unavoidable.

Commentary (टीका)

This verse presents the inexorable cycle of birth and death as a natural law. Grieving over what is inevitable is like grieving that the sun sets every evening. Death is not the end but a transition, and birth is not the beginning but a continuation. Accepting this cycle is the foundation of spiritual maturity.
