Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

कुछ योगी देवपूजारूपी यज्ञ का उपासना करते हैं; अन्य लोग ब्रह्मरूपी अग्नि में यज्ञ द्वारा ही यज्ञ का हवन करते हैं।

English Translation

Some yogis perform sacrifice by worshipping the demigods; others offer the self as sacrifice into the fire of Brahman by means of sacrifice itself.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna begins describing various types of sacrifice (yajna) practiced by different seekers. Some worship the gods through ritual sacrifice, while the more advanced offer the very self into the fire of Brahman — meaning they see all their actions as an offering to the Supreme. This begins a series of verses cataloguing diverse spiritual practices, all of which are forms of sacred offering.
