Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

One whose self is unattached to external pleasures finds happiness within the Self. United with Brahman through yoga, such a person enjoys imperishable happiness.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna distinguishes between two types of happiness: the fleeting pleasure from external sense contacts, and the imperishable bliss found within one's own Self through union with Brahman. When one becomes detached from external pleasures — not through suppression but through discovering a greater inner joy — one naturally experiences the endless happiness of Brahman-consciousness.
