The sages whose sins are destroyed, whose doubts are cut asunder, who are self-controlled, and who delight in the welfare of all beings — they attain liberation in Brahman.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna describes the qualities of those who attain brahma-nirvana: purity from sin, freedom from doubt, self-discipline, and active compassion for all beings. Notably, spiritual liberation is not presented as selfish escape but includes 'sarva-bhuta-hite ratah' — delighting in the welfare of all beings. True spiritual realization naturally expresses itself as universal compassion and service.
