Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

O Arjuna, I give heat (as the sun). I withhold and send forth rain. I am both immortality and death, being and non-being — I am all of this.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna encompasses all pairs of opposites within Himself. He is both the heat of the sun and the cooling rain, both immortality and death, both existence and non-existence. The Divine transcends duality — good and bad, life and death, being and non-being are all aspects of the one infinite reality. This is the ultimate non-dual vision.
