चिन्तामपरिमेयां च प्रलयान्तामुपाश्रिताः।

कामोपभोगपरमा एतावदिति निश्चिताः॥

Kama-upabhoga-parama etavad-iti nishchitah

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

मृत्यु तक बनी रहने वाली असीम चिन्ताओं का आश्रय लेकर, कामनाओं के भोग को ही परम लक्ष्य मानते हुए, वे निश्चित मानते हैं कि बस इतना ही सब कुछ है।

English Translation

Beset with immeasurable anxieties that end only with death, regarding sense enjoyment as the highest goal, they are convinced that this is all there is.

Commentary (टीका)

Demoniac people carry boundless worries that persist until death because material desires are never truly satisfied. Their conviction that sensory pleasure is life's ultimate purpose traps them in an endless cycle of craving and anxiety. This verse reveals the inherent suffering in a purely materialistic life.
