Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

By the delusion of the pairs of opposites arising from desire and aversion, O Bharata, all beings fall into ignorance at birth, O scorcher of foes.

Commentary (टीका)

From the very moment of birth, beings are caught in the web of duality — pleasure and pain, like and dislike, heat and cold. This universal delusion, rooted in desire and aversion, prevents recognition of the supreme truth. Understanding this mechanism is the first step toward liberation from it.
