Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

For I alone am the enjoyer and the Lord of all sacrifices. But they do not know Me in truth (as the Supreme), and therefore they fall (from the higher attainment).

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna explains why worship of other deities, though reaching Him, is incomplete. He is the ultimate recipient and master of all worship. Those who fail to recognize this truth worship limited forms and receive limited, temporary results. Their 'fall' is not punishment but simply the natural consequence of incomplete understanding — they miss the opportunity for permanent liberation.
