Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
Worshippers of the devas go to the devas, worshippers of ancestors go to the ancestors, worshippers of spirits go to the spirits — but My devotees come to Me.
Commentary (टीका)
This verse establishes the principle 'you become what you worship.' The object of one's devotion determines one's destination. Those who worship limited beings attain limited realms. But devotees of the Supreme attain the Supreme — which is permanent and infinite. This is not about excluding other forms of worship but about revealing the highest possibility available to every soul.
