Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
जो कोई भक्ति से मुझे एक पत्ता, एक पुष्प, एक फल या जल भी अर्पित करता है — उस शुद्ध हृदय वाले भक्त का प्रेमपूर्वक अर्पित किया हुआ वह मैं (प्रेमपूर्वक) स्वीकार करता हूँ।
English Translation
Whoever offers Me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or even water — that offering of love, made with a pure heart, I lovingly accept.
Commentary (टीका)
This is one of the most beloved verses in all of Hindu scripture. God does not want elaborate rituals or expensive offerings — He wants the heart. The simplest things — a leaf, a flower, a fruit, water — when offered with genuine devotion, are received by the Lord with love. This verse democratizes worship entirely — the poorest person can offer the richest devotion. What matters is not the material value but the spiritual sincerity.
