Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
O son of Kunti, at the end of a cosmic cycle (kalpa), all beings merge back into My Prakriti (nature). At the beginning of the next cycle, I create them again.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna describes the cosmic rhythm of creation and dissolution. At the end of each cosmic cycle (Brahma's day), the entire manifest creation dissolves into the unmanifest Prakriti, which is God's own energy. At the beginning of the next cycle, creation is projected forth again. This cosmic breathing — creation, sustenance, dissolution — continues eternally.
