Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

Presiding over My own Prakriti (material nature), I project forth again and again this entire multitude of beings, who are helpless under the sway of Prakriti.

Commentary (टीका)

This verse reveals that creation is not a random or one-time event. God animates His own Prakriti and through it creates the countless beings who come into existence governed by their karmas and the gunas of nature. The word 'avasham' (helpless) refers to the conditioned souls who are bound by their past actions and the laws of nature.
