Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

हे धनञ्जय! वे कर्म मुझे नहीं बाँधते, क्योंकि मैं उन कर्मों में आसक्ति रहित, उदासीन के समान (तटस्थ) स्थित हूँ।

English Translation

O Dhananjaya, these actions do not bind Me, for I remain as if seated indifferently, unattached to those actions.

Commentary (टीका)

Despite being the creator and sustainer of all, Krishna remains completely unaffected by the cosmic process. He is like the sun that enables all activity on earth without being touched by it. This is the ultimate model for the Karma Yogi — to act fully yet remain inwardly detached. God's freedom from bondage despite His cosmic activity is the proof that detached action is possible.
