Dedicated to Goddess Durga, the Chandi Hridayam (चण्डी हृदयम्) is a heart-essence prayer revered in Hindu tradition. Drawn from Markandeya Purana (Chandi Path), this text has been cherished by devotees for centuries. Devotees recite this prayer to destroy all fears and grant long life with full prosperity and bestow all siddhis without doubt when recited with devotion. It is also said to invoke the Triguna (Sattva-Rajas-Tamas) form of the supreme Goddess. For best results, devotees chant this on Tuesday (Mangalvar) and Friday (Shukravar) and during Navratri. ॥ श्री चण्डी हृदयम् ॥
ॐ अस्य श्रीचण्डीहृदयस्तोत्रमन्त्रस्य भार्गव ऋषिः।
अनुष्टुप् छन्दः। श्रीचण्डिका देवता।
श्रीचण्डिकाप्रीत्यर्थे जपे विनियोगः॥
ॐ नमश्चण्डिकायै॥
प्रथमं कवचं देव्या द्वितीयं किलकं तथा।
अर्गलास्तोत्रमेवाथ चण्डिकाहृदयं परम्॥१॥
एतान्यङ्गानि देव्यास्तु सप्तशत्याः प्रकीर्तिताः।
चतुर्भिः सिद्धिमाप्नोति ततः प्रारभ्य पाठनम्॥२॥
चण्डिकाहृदयं ज्ञात्वा यो जपेत् सततं नरः।
तस्य सर्वभयं नश्येत् सर्वसम्पत्तिरायुषा॥३॥
ॐ ह्रीं चण्डिकायै हृदयाय नमः।
ॐ ह्रीं चण्डिकायै शिरसे स्वाहा।
ॐ ह्रीं चण्डिकायै शिखायै वषट्।
ॐ ह्रीं चण्डिकायै कवचाय हुम्।
ॐ ह्रीं चण्डिकायै नेत्रत्रयाय वौषट्।
ॐ ह्रीं चण्डिकायै अस्त्राय फट्॥४॥
त्रयाणामपि लोकानां माता त्वं सर्वदेहिनाम्।
महाविद्ये महामाये जय त्वं चण्डिके नमः॥५॥
कामेश्वरी कामसिद्धिं लभते चण्डिकास्मृतेः।
सर्वकामप्रदे देवि सर्वतो जयमन्विताम्॥६॥
त्वमेव विश्वजननी त्वमेव विश्वपालिनी।
त्वमेव विश्वहन्त्री च त्वमेव सर्वरूपिणी॥७॥
सृष्टिसंहारकर्त्री च तथा स्थितिविधायिनी।
महामाये महाशक्ते चण्डिके सर्वमंगले॥८॥
महालक्ष्मी महाकाली महासरस्वती शिवा।
तिस्रो देव्यस्त्रयो भागा मूर्तिभेदेन संस्थिताः॥९॥
त्रिगुणात्मिका देवी त्रिविधां शक्तिमुद्वहत्।
सत्त्वं रजस्तमश्चेति गुणत्रयविभागिनी॥१०॥
दुर्गा सती भद्रकाली चण्डी सिंहवाहिनी।
बगला वैष्णवी माता शाकम्भरी शिवप्रिया॥११॥
सर्वमन्त्रमयी विद्या सर्वतन्त्रेषु गोपिता।
सर्वयन्त्रात्मिका शक्तिः सर्वयन्त्रनिवासिनी॥१२॥
यो जपेत् सततं भक्त्या चण्डिकाहृदयं शुभम्।
सर्वसिद्धिमवाप्नोति नात्र कार्या विचारणा॥१३॥
गोपनीयं प्रयत्नेन स्वयोनिरिव पार्वति।
मारणोच्चाटने वश्ये स्तम्भनाकर्षणादिषु॥१४॥
सर्वक्रियासु सर्वत्र हृदयस्य जपं चरेत्।
इदं रहस्यं परमं देव्याः चण्डीहृदयकम्॥१५॥
॥ इति श्री चण्डीहृदयं सम्पूर्णम् ॥
