॥ श्री वरुण सूक्तम् ॥

ॐ तत्त्वा यामि ब्रह्मणा वन्दमानस्तदा शास्ते यजमानो हविर्भिः।

अहेडमानो वरुणेह बोध्युरुशंस मा न आयुः प्र मोषीः॥ १॥

त्वमस्य वरुण ऋतस्य गोपा यतो विवर्त्स्युपदस्यु नॄन्।

त्वं मित्राय वरुणाय चाम्नश्चोदयानः पथः सुगान्॥ २॥

वरुणस्य तमश्विनावभिष्टौ सम्राजो यस्य विश्वमस्ति भद्रम्।

व्यत्यायत्सूर्यो रथमश्विनोभा सीमा दधाते सुभगा युवानौ॥ ३॥

उद्वां चक्षुर्वरुणस्य देवो दिवोऽरोचद्‍भूर्यग्ने अमर्त्यः।

प्रातर्मक्षू ह्यवसे बृहद्भिर्भानुभिर्यातमश्विनाध्वरं नः॥ ४॥

यच्चिद्धि ते विशो यथा प्र देव वरुण व्रतम्।

मिनीमसि द्यवि-द्यवि॥ ५॥

मा नो वधाय हत्नवे जिहीळानस्य रीरधः।

मा हृणानस्य मन्यवे॥ ६॥

वि मृळीकाय ते मनो रथीरश्वं न सन्दितम्।

गीर्भिर्वरुण सीमहि॥ ७॥

परा मे यन्ति धीतयो गावो न गव्यूतीरनु।

इच्छन्तीरुरुचक्षसम्॥ ८॥

इमं मे वरुण शृधी हवमद्या च मृळय।

त्वामवस्युराचके॥ ९॥

त्वं विश्वस्य मेधिर दिवश्च ग्मश्च राजसि।

स यामनि प्रतिश्रुधि॥ १०॥

उदुत्तमं मुमुग्धि नो वि पाशं मध्यमं चृत।

अवाधमानि जीवसे॥ ११॥
