॥ श्री अग्नि देव चालीसा ॥
॥ दोहा ॥
अग्नि देव की वन्दना, हवन यज्ञ आधार।
देवताओं के मुख हो, वाहक हव्य अपार॥
सप्त जिह्वा प्रज्वलित, तेजस्वी भगवान।
अग्नि चालीसा पढ़ें, करें कृपा निधान॥
॥ चौपाई ॥
जय जय अग्नि देव भगवाना।
यज्ञ पुरुष हव्यवाहन नाना॥
सप्त जिह्वा से प्रकट हुआ तेज।
त्रिलोक में व्यापत तुम्हारा ओज॥ १॥
काली कराली मनोजवा,
सुलोहिता धूम्रवर्णा उज्ज्वला।
स्फुलिंगिनी विश्वरूपी जिह्वा,
सप्त नाम तेरी प्रभा विमला॥ २॥
वेदों में तुम प्रथम वन्दित।
ऋग्वेद प्रथम सूक्त तुम्हें समर्पित॥
अग्निमीळे पुरोहितम् गाया।
यज्ञस्य देवमृत्विजम् बताया॥ ३॥
होतार त्वम् अध्वर्यु साथी।
देव-मानव के बीच सम्बन्ध ग्राही॥
हवि अर्पित जो अग्नि में होती।
देवों तक पहुँचाओ ज्योति॥ ४॥
गृहस्थ के घर नित्य जलो तुम।
गार्हपत्य दक्षिण आहवनीय क्रम॥
तीन रूप में अग्नि विराजे।
यज्ञशाला में नित प्रभु साजे॥ ५॥
स्वाहा देवी तुम्हारी पत्नी।
बिना स्वाहा आहुति नहीं सत्नी॥
पावक नाम तुम्हारा पावन।
सब कुछ शुद्ध करो प्रभु सावन॥ ६॥
जठराग्नि रूप सब में बसते।
अन्न पचाओ प्राण धरते॥
वैश्वानर रूप सदा विराजो।
भक्तों की जठर ज्वाला साजो॥ ७॥
दावाग्नि बनो वन शोधक।
बडवाग्नि सागर में रोधक॥
विद्युत रूप गगन में चमको।
सूर्य रूप त्रिभुवन तमको हटो॥ ८॥
विवाह में साक्षी बनो तुम।
सप्तपदी अग्नि फेरे पावन सुम॥
गृहस्थ धर्म के आधार तुम।
पवित्र बन्धन के सार तुम॥ ९॥
यज्ञ हवन पूजा में पूजित।
अग्निहोत्र से लोक सुशोभित॥
नवग्रह शान्ति हवन से होवे।
अग्नि देव की कृपा जो बोवे॥ १०॥

यज्ञ हवन फलदायी, कृपा करें अग्नि भगवन॥
