॥ श्री दुर्गा स्तुति (अर्जुनकृत) ॥

ॐ नमो भगवत्यै दुर्गायै॥

वैशम्पायन उवाच -

कुरुक्षेत्रे स्थितौ सैन्ये कौरवाणां महात्मनाम्।

कृष्णेनोक्तोऽर्जुनः पार्थः देवीं दुर्गां जगत्प्रसूम्॥

अर्जुन उवाच -

नमस्ते सिद्धसेनानि आर्ये मन्दरवासिनि।

कुमारि कालि कापालि कपिले कृष्णपिंगले॥१॥

भद्रकालि नमस्तुभ्यं महाकालि नमोऽस्तु ते।

चण्डि चण्डे नमस्तुभ्यं तारिणि वरवर्णिनि॥२॥

कात्यायनि महाभागे करालि विजये जये।

शिखिपिच्छध्वजधरे नानाभरणभूषिते॥३॥

अट्टशूलप्रहरणे खड्गखेटकधारिणि।

गोपेन्द्रस्यानुजे ज्येष्ठे नन्दगोपकुलोद्भवे॥४॥

महिषासृक्प्रिये नित्यं कौशिकि पीतवासिनि।

अट्टहासे कोकमुखे नमस्तेऽस्तु रणप्रिये॥५॥

उमे शाकम्भरि श्वेते कृष्णे कैटभनाशिनि।

हिरण्याक्षि विरूपाक्षि सुधूम्राक्षि नमोऽस्तु ते॥६॥

वेदश्रुतिमहापुण्ये ब्रह्मण्ये जातवेदसि।

जम्बूकटकचैत्येषु नित्यं सन्निहितालये॥७॥

त्वं ब्रह्मविद्या विद्यानां महानिद्रा च देहिनाम्।

स्कन्दमातर्भगवति दुर्गे कान्तारवासिनि॥८॥

स्वाहाकारः स्वधा चैव कला काष्ठा सरस्वती।

सावित्री वेदमाता च तथा वेदान्तगोचरा॥९॥

स्तुता सुरैः पूर्वभिलषितार्था त्वं नो देवी शुभेन शुभं बुद्धिं।

भयान्मुक्ता येन जगत्त्रयं न स्युः तन्मे दुर्गे त्वां शरणमहं प्रपद्ये॥१०॥

जयामि सर्वान् सुसमाहितेन मनसा देवीं दुर्गामभिगम्य।

जयं देहि शत्रूणां विजयं देहि मे प्रभो॥११॥

त्वया संरक्ष्यमाणस्य रक्षसा किं करिष्यति।

त्वं रक्षतीह या गोत्रे बीजरूपेण संस्थिता॥१२॥

नमामि त्वां महादेवि विजयार्थं सदा रणे।

जयं प्रयच्छ मे देवि नमस्ते शंकरप्रिये॥१३॥

वैशम्पायन उवाच -

इति स्तुता महादेवी पार्थेन शिवसंनिधौ।

जयमास्थाय गमनं विजयश्चाभवत्ततः॥

या इमां दुर्गास्तुतिमर्जुनकृतां पठेत्।

न तस्य दुर्लभं किञ्चित् त्रिषु लोकेषु विद्यते॥

॥ इति श्री महाभारते भीष्मपर्वणि दुर्गास्तुतिः सम्पूर्णा ॥
