॥ श्री गायत्री हृदयम् ॥
ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वः तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं
भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि। धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्॥
आयातु वरदा देवी अक्षरं ब्रह्मसम्मितम्।
गायत्रीं छन्दसां माता ब्रह्मयोनिं नमाम्यहम्॥ १॥
मुक्ताविद्रुमहेमनीलधवलच्छायैर्मुखैस्त्रीक्षणैः
युक्तामिन्दुनिबद्धरत्नमुकुटां तत्त्वार्थवर्णात्मिकाम्।
गायत्रीं वरदाभयाङ्कुशकशाशूलं कपालं गदां
शङ्खं चक्रमथारविन्दयुगलं हस्तैर्वहन्तीं भजे॥ २॥
गायत्री चैव सावित्री च सरस्वती च।
त्रयी विद्या परा शक्तिः एषा गायत्री वेदमाता॥ ३॥
गायत्र्या हृदयं वक्ष्ये सर्वकामफलप्रदम्।
य इदं श्रृणुयान्नित्यं पठेद्वा श्रद्धयान्वितः।
सर्वपापविनिर्मुक्तः परं ब्रह्माधिगच्छति॥ ४॥
प्रातः सन्ध्यां समासाद्य गायत्रीमुपतिष्ठति।
सायं सन्ध्यां समासाद्य गायत्रीमुपतिष्ठति।
मध्याह्ने तु समासाद्य गायत्रीमुपतिष्ठति॥ ५॥
सर्वव्याधिविनिर्मुक्तः सर्वरोगविवर्जितः।
गायत्रीहृदयं जप्त्वा सर्वान्कामानवाप्नुयात्॥ ६॥
ब्रह्मणोऽस्य मुखं गायत्री
ऋषिः सविता देवता।
अग्निर्मुखं वायुर्हृदयं
सूर्य आत्मा चन्द्रमा मनः॥ ७॥
॥ इति श्री गायत्री हृदयम् सम्पूर्णम् ॥
