Kaalratri Stotram — कालरात्रि स्तोत्रम् — is a devotional hymn of praise offered to Goddess Durga. This revered text originates from Traditional (Navdurga Stotras). Regular recitation is believed to destroy darkness of ignorance and grant spiritual illumination, fierce form that is Shubhankari - always does good for devotees, and remove the deepest fears and grant absolute fearlessness. For best results, devotees chant this on Tuesday (Mangalvar) and Saturday (Shanivar) and during Navratri. ॥ श्री कालरात्रि स्तोत्रम् ॥
वन्दे वाञ्छितलाभाय चन्द्रार्धकृतशेखराम्।
गर्दभारूढां भीषणां कालरात्रिं महागुणाम्॥१॥
एकवेणी जपाकर्णपूरा नग्ना खरास्थिता।
लम्बोष्ठी कर्णिकाकर्णी तैलाभ्यक्तशरीरिणी॥२॥
वामपादोल्लसल्लोहलतागृहीतकर्णयुगम्।
वर्धनमूर्धजां घोरां कालरात्रिं प्रपूजयेत्॥३॥
सहस्रारस्थितां सप्तम दुर्गां त्रिनेत्राम्।
कृष्णवर्णां विकटां भयानकां कालरात्रिं भजाम्यहम्॥४॥
कालरात्रिर्महारात्रिर्मोहरात्रिश्च दारुणा।
त्वं श्रीस्त्वं च महाविद्या कालरात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते॥५॥
तेजसा सबको निगले घोर तिमिरनाशिनी।
सप्तम दुर्गा त्वंहि कालरात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते॥६॥
भयानकी भीषणी घोरा रक्तदन्ता विकरालिनी।
प्रेतवाहना भूतनाथा कालरात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते॥७॥
दुष्टदानवसंहन्त्री कालरात्रि कराला च।
भैरवनायिका भीमा कालरात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते॥८॥
शूलवज्रबाणधरां खड्गहस्ता महाबला।
ग्रहभूतप्रेतनाशिनी कालरात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते॥९॥
शुभं करोति कल्याणं शुभंकरी सदा शिवा।
शुभदा सर्वदुष्टघ्नी कालरात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते॥१०॥
निर्भयं करोति सा देवी भक्तं सदा सुखप्रदा।
सप्तमी नवदुर्गासु कालरात्रि नमोऽस्तु ते॥११॥
