॥ श्री मेधा सूक्तम् ॥

ॐ तच्छं योरावृणीमहे। गातुं यज्ञाय। गातुं यज्ञपतये। दैवी स्वस्तिरस्तु नः।

स्वस्तिर्मानुषेभ्यः। ऊर्ध्वं जिगातु भेषजम्। शं नो अस्तु द्विपदे। शं चतुष्पदे।

ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः॥

यश्छन्दसामृषभो विश्वरूपः। छन्दोभ्योऽध्यमृतात्संबभूव।

स मेन्द्रो मेधया स्पृणोतु। अमृतस्य देव धारणो भूयासम्।

शरीरं मे विचर्षणम्। जिह्वा मे मधुमत्तमा।

कर्णाभ्यां भूरि विश्रुवम्। ब्रह्मणः कोशोऽसि मेधया पिहितः।

श्रुतं मे गोपाय॥ १॥

आ मा मेधा सुरभिर्विश्वरूपा हिरण्यवर्णा जगती जगम्या।

ऊर्जस्वती पयसा पिन्वमाना सा मे मेधा सुप्रतीका जुषन्ताम्॥ २॥

मेधां मे वरुणो ददातु मेधामग्निः प्रजापतिः।

मेधामिन्द्रश्च वायुश्च मेधां धाता ददातु मे। त्वं नो मेधे प्रथमा गोभिरश्वैरायुषा॥ ३॥

मेधां सायं मेधां प्रातर्मेधां मध्यन्दिनं परि।

मेधां सूर्यस्य रश्मिभिर्वचसा वेशयामहे॥ ४॥

यन्मे मनस उत चित्तमन्तश्चरामि।

श्रद्धां मेधामृतं य चकार। तान्मा मेधया सह संविदाना।

मा मत्सहामं मयि सर्वमेतत्। मेधावी भूयासम्॥ ५॥

मेधां मे देवः सविता ददातु मेधां देवी सरस्वती।

मेधां मे अश्विनावुभावाधत्तां पुष्करस्रजा॥ ६॥

यां मेधां देवगणाः पितरश्चोपासते।

तया मामद्य मेधयाग्ने मेधाविनं कुरु। ॐ॥ ७॥
