नीलकण्ठं नमामीशं विषधारिणमव्ययम्।
समुद्रमन्थनोद्भूतं हालाहलधरं शिवम्॥१॥
देवानां रक्षणार्थाय जगतां हितकाम्यया।
विषं सन्धारयामास कण्ठे यो लोकशंकरः॥२॥
कालकूटविषं घोरं सर्वलोकभयङ्करम्।
कण्ठे धृत्वा कृपासिन्धुं नीलकण्ठं नमाम्यहम्॥३॥
देवासुरैस्तदा मन्थे समुद्रे क्षीरसागरे।
हालाहलं समुत्पन्नं जगद्दाहकरं विषम्॥४॥
त्रस्ता देवाश्च गन्धर्वा ऋषयो मुनयस्तथा।
शरणं जग्मुरीशानं विषनाशाय शंकरम्॥५॥
पार्वत्या सहितः शम्भुः करुणार्द्रेण चेतसा।
गृहीत्वा पाणिना विषं पपौ कण्ठे धृतं तदा॥६॥
नैव मृत्युर्न चालस्यं विषं कण्ठे स्थितं यतः।
नीलवर्णं बभूवाथ कण्ठं तस्य महात्मनः॥७॥
नीलकण्ठ महादेव कृपासागर शंकर।
त्राहि मां सर्वपापेभ्यो विषदुःखाच्च रक्ष माम्॥८॥
यः पठेत् प्रातरुत्थाय नीलकण्ठस्तवं शुभम्।
विषबाधा न तस्यास्ति सर्वरोगविनाशनम्॥
