॥ श्री वायु अष्टकम् ॥

मातरिश्वानं महाभागं प्राणापानविधायकम्।

पञ्चप्राणस्वरूपं त्वां वायुदेवं नमाम्यहम्॥ १॥

सर्वगं सर्वभूतस्थं निराकारं निरामयम्।

प्रत्यक्षं सर्वलोकानां वायुदेवं नमाम्यहम्॥ २॥

ध्वजं गृह्णन्तमायान्तं शब्दं वहन्तमन्तरम्।

गन्धप्रवाहकं दिव्यं वायुदेवं नमाम्यहम्॥ ३॥

वृक्षान् कम्पयतां श्रेष्ठं मेघान् वाहयतां वरम्।

समुद्रतरङ्गकर्तारं वायुदेवं नमाम्यहम्॥ ४॥

यज्ञे हवींषि वहन्तं देवेभ्यो हव्यवाहनम्।

ऋत्विजां सहकारं च वायुदेवं नमाम्यहम्॥ ५॥

सृष्टौ प्राणं प्रयच्छन्तं संहारे प्राणहारकम्।

सृष्टिस्थितिलयानां च वायुदेवं नमाम्यहम्॥ ६॥

हनूमज्जनकं वन्दे भीमस्य पितरं शुभम्।

बलवीर्यप्रदातारं वायुदेवं नमाम्यहम्॥ ७॥

नमस्ते वायवे तुभ्यं त्वमेव प्रत्यक्षं ब्रह्मासि।
