॥ श्री योग वासिष्ठ - मुख्य श्लोक ॥
वसिष्ठ उवाच -
मनः कल्पितसंसारमिदं सत्यं न विद्यते।
मनसो ह्यपरा शक्तिर्नान्या संसारकल्पने॥१॥
मन एव मनुष्याणां कारणं बन्धमोक्षयोः।
बन्धाय विषयासक्तं मुक्त्यै निर्विषयं स्मृतम्॥२॥
यथा दीपो निवातस्थो नेंगते सोपमा स्मृता।
योगिनो यतचित्तस्य युञ्जतो योगमात्मनः॥३॥
न हि ज्ञानेन सदृशं पवित्रमिह विद्यते।
तत्स्वयं योगसंसिद्धः कालेनात्मनि विन्दति॥४॥
उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत्।
आत्मैव ह्यात्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव रिपुरात्मनः॥५॥
चित्तं हि कारणं लोके सुखदुःखप्रवर्तने।
शान्तं चेन्मुक्तिदं ज्ञेयमशान्तं बन्धकारणम्॥६॥
न देशो नापि कालो वा न क्रिया वा न सम्पदः।
विना गुरुकृपां राम न मुक्तिः सम्प्रजायते॥७॥
ज्ञातं यदा तदा मुक्तो न ज्ञातं बन्धकारणम्।
आत्मज्ञानमिदं राम सर्वबन्धविमोचनम्॥८॥
वासनाक्षयविज्ञाने द्वे पदे मोक्षहेतुके।
मोक्षबीजं वैराग्यं मोक्षांकुरं विवेकनम्॥९॥
इदं विश्वं यथा स्वप्ने कल्पितं चेतसा स्फुटम्।
तथैव जागरत्सर्वं मनसा कल्पितं जगत्॥१०॥
