॥ श्री आदित्य कवचम् ॥
अस्य श्री आदित्य कवच मन्त्रस्य अगस्त्य ऋषिः,
अनुष्टुप् छन्दः, श्री आदित्य देवता,
ह्रां बीजम्, ह्रीं शक्तिः, ह्रूं कीलकम्,
सर्वारोग्यप्राप्त्यर्थे जपे विनियोगः।
ॐ आदित्यः पातु शीर्षं मे ललाटं मित्र एव च।
नेत्रे दिनमणिः पातु श्रवणे सर्वतापनः॥१॥
घ्राणं पातु तमोभेदी मुखं पातु प्रभाकरः।
जिह्वां पातु जगत्साक्षी कण्ठं मे मार्तण्डस्तथा॥२॥
स्कन्धौ पातु ग्रहपतिर्बाहू मे भास्करस्तथा।
करौ पातु दिनेशश्च हृदयं तापनो मम॥३॥
मध्यं पातु सुरश्रेष्ठो नाभिं पातु नभोमणिः।
कटिं पातु तमोहन्ता ऊरू मे सर्वलोककृत्॥४॥
जानुनी पातु देवेशः जंघे मे प्रतिभानवान्।
गुल्फौ पातु खगोत्तंसः पादौ मे दीप्तदीधितिः॥५॥
सर्वाङ्गं पातु सर्वात्मा सूर्यः सर्वभयापहः।
रक्षाहीनं तु यत्स्थानं कवचेन विना कृतम्॥६॥
तत्सर्वं पातु भगवान् सूर्यो देवो गभस्तिमान्।
सूर्यकवचमिदं दिव्यं पठित्वा तु जपेत्सदा॥७॥
सर्वरोगविनिर्मुक्तो दीर्घायुष्मान् भवेन्नरः।
बलवान् तेजसा युक्तः सूर्यलोकमवाप्नुयात्॥८॥
॥ इति श्री आदित्य कवचं सम्पूर्णम् ॥
