॥ श्री दत्तात्रेय उपनिषद् - मुख्य श्लोक ॥
ॐ भद्रं कर्णेभिः शृणुयाम देवाः।
भद्रं पश्येमाक्षभिर्यजत्राः।
स्थिरैरंगैस्तुष्टुवांसस्तनूभिः
व्यशेम देवहितं यदायुः॥
ॐ सह नाववतु। सह नौ भुनक्तु।
सह वीर्यं करवावहै।
तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु मा विद्विषावहै।
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः॥
॥ मुख्य श्लोक ॥
दत्तात्रेयो जगत्सृष्ट्या ब्रह्मविष्णुमहेश्वरः।
त्रिमूर्तिः सच्चिदानन्दो निर्गुणो गुणवान्स्वयम्॥१॥
सदा योगस्थितो धीरः परमात्मा सनातनः।
चतुर्भुजः कमण्डलुधरो मालाकमण्डलुः॥२॥
योगिनामग्रगण्योऽसौ ज्ञानिनां परमो गुरुः।
यं दृष्ट्वा मुच्यते जन्तुर्जन्मसंसारबन्धनात्॥३॥
चतुर्विंशतिगुरवः प्रकृत्या यस्य शिक्षकाः।
पृथिवी वायुराकाशमापो वह्निश्च चन्द्रमाः॥४॥
सूर्यः कपोतोऽजगरः सिन्धुः पतंगपूर्वकः।
मधुकृत्कुररोऽर्भकः कुमारी शरकृच्च सः॥५॥
सर्पः ऊर्णनाभिश्च सुपेशकृदभीषणः।
एभ्यो गृहीतविद्यानां दत्तात्रेयो गुरुर्मतः॥६॥
आत्मा वा अरे द्रष्टव्यः श्रोतव्यो मन्तव्यो निदिध्यासितव्यः।
एतद्दत्तात्रेयस्योपदेशम्॥७॥
