॥ श्री धन्वन्तरि अष्टकम् ॥
॥ ध्यानम् ॥
शंखं चक्रं जलौकां च दधतं अमृतघटम्।
चतुर्भुजं पीतवासं धन्वन्तरिमहं भजे॥
॥ स्तोत्रम् ॥
नमामि धन्वन्तरिमादिदेवं सुरासुरैर्वन्दितपादपद्मम्।
लोके जराव्याधिविनाशदक्षं दातारमीशं विविधौषधीनाम्॥ १॥
क्षीरोदमथनोद्भूतं शंखचक्रादिधारिणम्।
आयुर्वेदप्रवक्तारं धन्वन्तरिमहं भजे॥ २॥
मृत्युव्याधिजराहर्तारं अमृतकलशधारिणम्।
विष्णोरंशं महात्मानं धन्वन्तरिमहं भजे॥ ३॥
अष्टाङ्गायुर्वेदकर्तारं शरीरशास्त्रप्रवर्तकम्।
त्रिदोषज्ञं महावैद्यं धन्वन्तरिमहं भजे॥ ४॥
निदानज्ञं विकारघ्नं चिकित्साशास्त्रपारगम्।
सर्वरोगहरं शान्तं धन्वन्तरिमहं भजे॥ ५॥
महौषधिप्रदातारं रसायनविशारदम्।
शल्यतन्त्रं महाज्ञानं धन्वन्तरिमहं भजे॥ ६॥
दीर्घायुषं प्रदातारं सर्वामयनिवारकम्।
शरीरसौख्यकर्तारं धन्वन्तरिमहं भजे॥ ७॥
भेषजं भिषजां वैद्यं भवरोगहरं हरिम्।
सर्वामृतमयं देवं धन्वन्तरिमहं भजे॥ ८॥
॥ फलश्रुति ॥
धन्वन्तर्यष्टकं यो हि पठेत् प्रातः समाहितः।
सर्वरोगविनिर्मुक्तो दीर्घायुर्जायते नरः॥
वैद्यकर्मसु सिद्धिः स्यात् चिकित्सायां विशेषतः।
धन्वन्तरिप्रसादेन आरोग्यं लभते ध्रुवम्॥
