॥ दोहा ॥
धन्वन्तरि भगवान को, करूँ सदा जय गान।
रोग नाश आरोग्य दो, प्रभु दो शुभ वरदान॥
क्षीरसागर से प्रकट, अमृत कलश विराज।
आयुर्वेद के देवता, हरो सकल दुख काज॥
॥ चौपाई ॥
जय धन्वन्तरि देव दयाला।
आयुर्वेद के तुम रखवाला॥
समुद्र मन्थन से प्रकटे जब।
अमृत कलश लिये आये तब॥
चतुर्भुज रूप मनोहारी।
शंख चक्र गदा पद्मधारी॥
पीताम्बर धर दिव्य शरीरा।
कुण्डल मुकुट शोभे गम्भीरा॥
विष्णु अवतार तुम्हीं कहलाये।
रोगनाश हित जग में आये॥
आयुर्वेद के आदि प्रवर्तक।
जीवनदायी सब दुख हरतक॥
अष्टांग आयुर्वेद बनाया।
काय चिकित्सा जग को सिखाया॥
शल्य तन्त्र और शालाक्य विद्या।
भूत विद्या कौमार चिकित्सा॥
अगद तन्त्र रसायन ज्ञाना।
वाजीकरण विद्या महाना॥
धनतेरस तव जन्मदिवस है।
प्रतिवर्ष पूजन उत्सव है॥
दीपावली के दो दिन पहले।
धनतेरस को पूजें सब चहले॥
धन्वन्तरि पूजा जो करई।
सो सब रोग शोक से तरई॥
नीम तुलसी और जड़ी बूटी।
तव वरदान से कभी न टूटी॥
प्राणायाम योग तव सिखाया।
दिनचर्या का ज्ञान बताया॥
त्रिदोष वात पित्त और कफ ये।
सम रखने का मन्त्र तव दफ ये॥
सात धातु रस रक्त और माँसा।
मेद अस्थि मज्जा शुक्र भासा॥
इन सबका ज्ञान तुम दीन्हा।
आयुर्वेद जग हित में कीन्हा॥
सर्व रोग निवारण कर्ता।
जीवनदायी दुख को हर्ता॥
महामारी का नाश करो तुम।
जड़ी बूटी का ज्ञान भरो तुम॥
दीर्घायु का वरदान तुम्हारा।
आरोग्य ही धन है जग सारा॥
जो यह चालीसा नित गावे।
रोगमुक्त जीवन सुख पावे॥
धन्वन्तरि के चरणन जाई।
सो नीरोग सदा सुखदाई॥
