ज्योतिर्मयं परं ब्रह्म नारायणमनामयम्।

सर्वज्योतिस्वरूपं तं प्रणमामि सनातनम्॥१॥

यस्य भासा भासयन्ते सूर्यचन्द्रौ हुताशनः।

तं ज्योतिषां ज्योतिराद्यं नारायणमुपास्महे॥२॥

ज्योतिरन्तर्बहिश्चैव ज्योतिर्ज्योतिरनातुरम्।

तेजसां निधिमक्षय्यं नारायणमजं विभुम्॥३॥

ज्योतिषा सर्वलोकेषु भासते यत्प्रभावतः।

सूर्ये चन्द्रे च दीपे च नारायणकलाऽखिला॥४॥

तमसः परमो धाता ज्योतिषां ज्योतिरुत्तमम्।

सदा प्रकाशमानं तं हृदि ध्यायेत् सनातनम्॥५॥

हिरण्मयेन पात्रेण सत्यस्यापिहितं मुखम्।

तत्त्वं पूषन् अपावृणु सत्यधर्माय दृष्टये॥६॥

न तत्र सूर्यो भाति न चन्द्रतारकं

नेमा विद्युतो भान्ति कुतोऽयमग्निः।

तमेव भान्तमनुभाति सर्वं

तस्य भासा सर्वमिदं विभाति॥७॥

ज्योतिर्मयं ध्रुवं शान्तमचलं सर्वगं विभुम्।

नारायणं परं ज्योतिः शरणं यामि सर्वदा॥८॥

ज्योतिर्मयस्तवं पुण्यं नारायणपरायणम्।

यः पठेत् प्रातरुत्थाय तमोनाशो भवेत्ततः॥
