॥ श्री सीता अष्टकम् ॥

सीतां सर्वगुणोपेतां रामवामांकसंस्थिताम्।

जनकस्य सुतां देवीं प्रणमामि मुहुर्मुहुः॥ १॥

वैदेहीं धरणीसुतां जनकजां मैथिलीं पतिव्रताम्।

रामस्य प्रियभामिनीं जगदधीशस्य प्राणवल्लभाम्।

सीतां सर्वजगन्मातरमाद्यां प्रकृतिं पराम्।

वन्दे त्वामहमीश्वरीं जगतां सर्वमंगलाम्॥ २॥

कनकमयशरीरां कञ्जपत्रायताक्षीं

कमलवदनशोभां कान्तिमत्यम्बराढ्याम्।

कुशलवसुतमातां कोमलां पुण्यरूपां

प्रणमत जनकस्य कन्यकां सर्वसिद्ध्यै॥ ३॥

वनवासव्रतधारिणीं सुशीलां

रावणग्रहविमोचितां पतिव्रताम्।

अशोकवनवासिनीं धीरां

सीतामहं प्रणमामि देवीम्॥ ४॥

त्रिजटासान्त्वनं कृत्वा हनूमन्तं प्रपूजय।

रामसन्देशवाहिन्या सन्तोषं या प्रदर्शयत्।

धैर्यशालिनीं विशालाक्षीं सीतां वन्दे सनातनीम्॥ ५॥

अग्निपरीक्षां च दत्त्वा धर्मं प्रमाणयत्।

पातिव्रत्यं दृढं यस्याः सीतां वन्दे सनातनीम्॥ ६॥

वाल्मीकेराश्रमे वासं कुर्वतीं तपस्विनीम्।

लवकुशप्रसूतिं तां सीतां वन्दे जगन्मातरम्॥ ७॥

भूमिपुत्रीं स्वयं भूमिमातुरंके गतां पुनः।

नित्यशुद्धां निष्कलंकां सीतां वन्दे सनातनीम्॥ ८॥

सीताष्टकमिदं पुण्यं यः पठेत् प्रातरुत्थितः।

सर्वसौभाग्यमाप्नोति सीताकृपां लभेत् ध्रुवम्॥
