॥ श्री इन्द्र सूक्तम् ॥

ॐ इन्द्रं वो विश्वतस्परि हवामहे जनेभ्यः।

अस्माकमस्तु केवलः॥ १॥

इन्द्रं नरो नेमधिता हवन्ते यत्पार्या युनजते धियस्ताः।

शूरो नृषाता शवसश्चकानो वृत्रं दक्षिणेन ऊ जघान॥ २॥

इन्द्र जुषस्व प्र वहा हरिभ्यां सोमस्य वा सोम्यस्य व्यश्नेः।

विदन्ता वसु तवाशिरो मदन्ता देवं रातहव्येषु धृष्णुम्॥ ३॥

त्वमिन्द्र बलादधि सहसो मन्युमीरसे।

त्वं शूर सनादसि प्र णो विद्वान्वसोराकृधि॥ ४॥

इन्द्राय गिरो अनिशितसर्गा अपः प्रेरयं सगरस्य बुध्नात्।

यो अक्षेणेव चक्रिया शचीभिर्विष्वक्तस्तम्भ पृथिवीमुत द्याम्॥ ५॥

मा नो वराहो अवहन्तमिन्द्र मा ससृजानः प्रति मन्युमीषत।

मा नो विदच्छरुमा संविदान आ नो भज परमे गोषु विक्षु॥ ६॥

त्वमिन्द्र प्रतूर्तिष्वभि विश्वा अभूरसि।

त्वमेतत्समाहितो वसूनां दर्ता भव॥ ७॥

वयमु त्वा तदिदर्थं सुपार्यं सनिं मेधसातये।

प्र यन्मन्दसानो हर्यश्वास्त त्वामुक्थिनो अनूषत॥ ८॥

इन्द्रो मदाय वावृधे शवसे वृत्रहा नृभिः।

तमिन्महत्सु रणेषु तमर्भेषु चोदय॥ ९॥
