Ganga Dashakam — गङ्गा दशकम् — is a sacred prayer offered to Goddess Ganga. Attributed to Skanda Purana / Devotional Tradition, this prayer holds a special place in Hindu devotional literature. Stotra Path (स्तोत्र पाठ)
॥ श्री गङ्गा दशकम् ॥
भागीरथि सुखदायिनि मातस्तव जलमहिमा निगमे ख्यातः।
नाहं जाने तव महिमानं पाहि कृपामयि मामज्ञानम्॥ १॥
त्वं हि त्रिलोकतारिणी सर्वदुःखनिवारिणी।
मोक्षप्रदा जगद्धात्री पाहि मां गङ्गे सनातनी॥ २॥
देवि सुरेश्वरि भगवति गङ्गे त्रिभुवनतारिणि तरलतरङ्गे।
शङ्करमौलिनिवासिनि विमले मम मतिरास्तां तव पदकमले॥ ३॥
तव जलकणिका शरीरे पतिता सकला दुरिताः प्रयान्ति।
त्वत्स्नानाद् भवसागरे न मज्जन्ति नराः कदाचिदपि॥ ४॥
सर्वतीर्थमयी मातस्त्वं सर्वदेवमयी सदा।
सर्वपापहरा गङ्गे सर्वसिद्धिप्रदा भव॥ ५॥
यस्याः सङ्कल्पमात्रेण पापसङ्घो विनश्यति।
तां गङ्गां प्रणमाम्यहं सर्वसौख्यप्रदायिनीम्॥ ६॥
विष्णुपादसमुद्भूता शिवशीर्षविभूषणम्।
त्रिपथे वाहिनी शुद्धा गङ्गा मे शरणं सदा॥ ७॥
भगीरथप्रयत्नेन स्वर्गाद् भूमिमिहागता।
जह्नुकन्या महापुण्या गङ्गा मे शरणं सदा॥ ८॥
नमामि गङ्गे तव पादपद्मं सदा शरण्ये कमलायताक्षि।
त्वदम्बुसेवासरितां सुभक्तो विमुक्तिमार्गं लभते मनुष्यः॥ ९॥
पतितोद्धारिणि जाह्नवि गङ्गे खण्डिततापत्रयविश्ववन्द्ये।
पापहारिणि नमोऽस्तु ते मातः पतितपावनि नारायणि॥ १०॥
॥ इति श्री गङ्गा दशकम् सम्पूर्णम् ॥
