॥ श्री गङ्गा कवचम् ॥
अस्य श्री गङ्गा कवच स्तोत्रस्य नारद ऋषिः।
अनुष्टुप् छन्दः। गङ्गा देवता।
ॐ गङ्गा मे शिरः पातु ललाटं जाह्नवी सदा।
भागीरथी दृशौ पातु श्रोत्रे पातु सुरापगा॥ १॥
नासां मन्दाकिनी पातु मुखं पातु त्रिपथगा।
जिह्वां पातु शिवा देवी कण्ठं पातु विष्णुपदी॥ २॥
स्कन्धौ विश्वनदी पातु बाहू पातु सरिद्वरा।
हस्तौ पुण्यजला पातु वक्षः पातु हरप्रिया॥ ३॥
हृदयं पापनाशिनी उदरं पातु निर्मला।
नाभिं मोक्षदा पातु कटिं पातु जलेश्वरी॥ ४॥
ऊरू देवनदी पातु जानुनी पातु शैलजा।
जङ्घे पातु सुरधुनी पादौ पातु जगन्मही॥ ५॥
प्राच्यां पातु भागीरथी दक्षिणे जाह्नवी सदा।
पश्चिमे मन्दाकिनी च उत्तरे पातु त्रिपथगा॥ ६॥
सर्वाङ्गं पातु मे गङ्गा सर्वतो रक्षतु स्वयम्।
इदं कवचमज्ञात्वा गङ्गास्तोत्रं पठेन्न तु॥ ७॥
यः पठेत् प्रातरुत्थाय गङ्गाकवचमुत्तमम्।
सर्वपापविनिर्मुक्तो गङ्गालोकं स गच्छति॥ ८॥
॥ इति श्री गङ्गा कवचम् सम्पूर्णम् ॥
