॥ श्री महाकाल स्तोत्रम् ॥

ॐ नमः शिवाय महाकालेश्वराय।

उज्जयिनीपुरवासाय कालाय नमो नमः॥

महाकालं महादेवं कालजिता जगत्पतिम्।

उज्जयिन्यां समासीनं प्रणमामि सदाशिवम्॥ १॥

कालचक्रप्रवर्तकं कालकालं महेश्वरम्।

मृत्युञ्जयं त्र्यम्बकं देवं महाकालं नमाम्यहम्॥ २॥

शिप्रातीरे विमले क्षेत्रे अवन्तिकायां सुपुण्यदे।

ज्योतिर्लिङ्गं महापुण्यं महाकालेश्वरं भजे॥ ३॥

भस्मोद्धूलितसर्वाङ्गं नागयज्ञोपवीतिनम्।

रुद्राक्षमालाभरणं महाकालं नमाम्यहम्॥ ४॥

त्रिशूलडमरुधारिणं नीलकण्ठं कपालिनम्।

ज्वालामालिनमीशानं महाकालं भजाम्यहम्॥ ५॥

भैरवानन्ददं देवं भस्मप्रियं कपर्दिनम्।

श्मशानवासिनं शान्तं महाकालं नमाम्यहम्॥ ६॥

कालस्य कालं कालज्ञं कालचक्रप्रवर्तकम्।

कालात्मकं कालरूपं महाकालं भजाम्यहम्॥ ७॥

सन्ध्याकाले महादेवो भस्मारत्या सुशोभितः।

नृत्यते भूतवृन्दैश्च महाकालो विराजते॥ ८॥

दक्षिणे मार्गतो यत्र हरसिद्धिर्विराजते।

शक्तिसमन्वितः शम्भुः महाकालो जगद्गुरुः॥ ९॥

राज्ञो विक्रमसेनस्य पालकः पुरुषोत्तमः।

उज्जयिन्या सदा रक्षा महाकालः करोति हि॥ १०॥

कालभैरवसेवितं सिद्धसाधकसेवितम्।

योगिनीगणसंयुक्तं महाकालं नमाम्यहम्॥ ११॥

महाकालस्य या पूजा उज्जयिन्यां विशेषतः।

तस्य स्तोत्रस्य पाठेन तत्फलं समवाप्नुयात्॥ १२॥
