॥ श्री सूर्य मङ्गलाष्टकम् ॥
सप्ताश्ववाहनं देवं सहस्रकिरणं शुभम्।
भास्करं लोकनाथं च सूर्यदेवाय मङ्गलम्॥ १॥
आदित्यं प्रभाकरं च दिवाकरं तमोनुदम्।
सवितारं जगद्धातं सूर्यदेवाय मङ्गलम्॥ २॥
रक्तवर्णं महातेजं पद्महस्तं दिवस्पतिम्।
द्वादशात्मानमीशानं सूर्यदेवाय मङ्गलम्॥ ३॥
कश्यपात्मजमुद्यन्तं सर्वरोगविनाशनम्।
सर्वलोकहितार्थाय सूर्यदेवाय मङ्गलम्॥ ४॥
अरुणं सारथिं कृत्वा रथस्थं ग्रहनायकम्।
चक्रवर्तिनमव्यक्तं सूर्यदेवाय मङ्गलम्॥ ५॥
मित्रं रविं भानुमन्तं मार्तण्डं भास्करं विभुम्।
प्रत्यक्षदेवं सर्वेषां सूर्यदेवाय मङ्गलम्॥ ६॥
तमोन्धकारनाशाय ज्ञानदीपप्रकाशकम्।
आरोग्यदायकं श्रेष्ठं सूर्यदेवाय मङ्गलम्॥ ७॥
सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्यं सर्वपापप्रणाशनम्।
सर्वदुःखहरं देवं सूर्यदेवाय मङ्गलम्॥ ८॥
