॥ श्री उषस् सूक्तम् ॥

ॐ उदु त्यां जातवेदसं देवं वहन्ति केतवः।

दृशे विश्वाय सूर्यम्॥ १॥

व्युषा दुहिता दिवः प्रत्नो अनयत् पशुम्।

ज्योतिष्कृणोति सूनरी॥ २॥

उदु श्रिय उषसो रोचमाना अस्थुर्धेनवो न वाजिनीवतीः।

अपेद्यन्ति तमसो ज्योतिषागात्॥ ३॥

उषो वाजं हि वंसव देवी दक्षिणया युजा।

वहसि भूरि वार्यम्॥ ४॥

उषो ये ते प्र यामेषु युञ्जते मनो दानाय सूरयः।

नहि ते अनुचरे जनम्॥ ५॥

वयं स्याम यशसो जनेषु इदं सुमतिभिर्देवीः।

प्र बोधयन्ती मघवाँ ऋतावृधोऽत्र ते वनवाम॥ ६॥

उष आ भाहि भानुना पुत्रि सूरस्य शश्वतः।

त्वं हि सूनृतानामासि देवि प्रचेतसी॥ ७॥

वि द्वारो दिवो ह्वरे व्यर्णांसि परि श्रवे।

विश्वं देवी प्रबोधयत्॥ ८॥
