॥ श्री विवेकचूडामणि — प्रमुख श्लोक ॥
जन्तूनां नरजन्म दुर्लभमतः पुंस्त्वं ततो विप्रता
तस्माद्वैदिकधर्ममार्गपरता विद्वत्त्वमस्मात्परम्।
आत्मानात्मविवेचनं स्वनुभवो ब्रह्मात्मना संस्थितिः
मुक्तिर्नो शतजन्मकोटिसुकृतैः पुण्यैर्विना लभ्यते॥ २॥
दुर्लभं त्रयमेवैतद्देवानुग्रहहेतुकम्।
मनुष्यत्वं मुमुक्षुत्वं महापुरुषसंश्रयः॥ ३॥
वदन्तु शास्त्राणि यजन्तु देवान्
कुर्वन्तु कर्माणि भजन्तु देवताः।
आत्मैक्यबोधेन विनापि मुक्ति-
र्न सिध्यति ब्रह्मशतान्तरेऽपि॥ ६॥
चित्तस्य शुद्धये कर्म न तु वस्तूपलब्धये।
वस्तुसिद्धिर्विचारेण न किञ्चित्कर्मकोटिभिः॥ ११॥
ब्रह्म सत्यं जगन्मिथ्या जीवो ब्रह्मैव नापरः।
अनेन वेद्यं सच्छास्त्रमिति वेदान्तडिण्डिमः॥ २०॥
अस्तीति भ्रान्तिभावोऽयं यत्किञ्चिद्वस्तुनो भवेत्।
आधिष्ठानावबोधे तत् बाधितं सम्प्रणश्यति॥ ११०॥
स्थाणौ पुरुषवद्भ्रान्त्या कृता ब्रह्मणि जीवता।
जीवस्य तात्त्विकं रूपं ब्रह्मैव न तु संसृतिः॥ २२८॥
नाहं विप्रो न च नरपतिर्नापि वैश्यो न शूद्रो
नो वा ब्रह्मचारी न गृहपतिर्नो वनस्थो यतिर्वा।
स्वप्रकाशोऽखिलाधिष्ठानभूतोऽन्तरात्मा
नित्यं शुद्धो निरवधिसुखैकात्मको ब्रह्मचैतन्यम्॥
निर्धूमो निष्कलो निश्चलो निर्मलो
निरवद्योऽनन्तो निर्गुणः शुद्धविज्ञानघनः।
ब्रह्मैवाहमस्मि सच्चिदानन्दलक्षणः
परमात्मा सर्वभूतान्तरात्मा॥
स एवायमात्मा सच्चिदानन्दलक्षणो
जाग्रत्स्वप्नसुषुप्त्यतीतः।
त्रिगुणरहितो नित्यमुक्तो निर्विकल्पः
ब्रह्मैवाहमस्मि॥
